My passion of natural medicine began as a very small child when I became very ill. My thymus gland was not working properly and when physicians could not find the problem my mother thankfully found an amazingly talented chiropractor who practiced herbal medicine, Dr. Burwell. Dr. Burwell saved my life, saving me from serious immune system diseases or even childhood cancer. The thymus gland, a tiny gland in our upper chest, is a specialized organ of our immune system and "educates" our T cells, which are critical cells of our adaptive immune system.
Dr. Burwell was a gifted, very talented and special woman, and remained my families doctor for years until her passing, Influenced by Dr. Burwell and my mother at a very young age, gave me the insight of how nature is our most gifted resource, and today I formulate healthy skin care without harmful and toxic ingredients. FACT:
Manufacturers claim their products are safe. But what do
those claims really mean? It may mean that the company
has tested ingredients it uses only to see if they cause
rashes, swelling or other acute reactions. Companies
are not required to assess the safety of their products or ingredients, nor do they consider the health effects they can cause, such
as cancer, permanent sensitivities, or even infertility. At this time, there are no government
standards for safety, and companies can say whatever they
like about the safety of their products. So please beware of advertising hype, and get into the habit of reading ingredient labels and researching the ingredients listed.
