Shelf Life:
When stored away from heat and UV light you can expect a shelf life of 12 months. A 'best when used by' date' is printed on the label.

How Supplied:
We ship in amber glass bottles to protect the integrity of this lotion helping to keep UV light out. Each bottle includes a black pump for ease of dispensing. The 2oz size ships with a glass dropper, the 8 ounce size ships in two 4oz amber glass bottles each with a black pump. At this time, the 1oz size comes with a black cap.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE -

For facial use: Apply to freshly cleansed and damp skin using short firm strokes (not rubbing in), morning and night. Also use after exfoliating to prevent dryness.

For all over body use: Apply to damp skin morning and evening after bathing or showering, and after swimming. Excellent moisture replenishment after washing hands and after tanning and sun exposure. Apply and massage into skin, and reapply as needed.

For best results: Warm skin absorbs better than cold skin. When applying after a shower or bath, it is best to apply within 3 minutes so skin is still moist. Also, skin should be moisturized both from the inside and outside, by keeping the body well hydrated. Keeping the body well hydrated is an important part of keeping skin well moisturized.

Always test new products on a small patch of skin. If an irritation develops, do not use the product.

Allantoin

Allantoin is a cell proliferant of the comfrey plant, and is known to promote wound healing, enhance the speed of cell replacement promoting new cell growth and speed up cell regeneration, and has a keratolytic (skin softening) effect.  It is said to promote wound healing and tissue formation. Allantoin is safe and a non-irritant.

Organic Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is known for its for its skin soothing properties, ability to ease pain and reduce inflammation. It has been used externally to treat various skin conditions such as cuts, burns, and eczema.

Organic Calendula (Calendula Officinalis) Flower
(Certified Organic)

Calendula is renowned for its ability to heal the skin; this herb is helpful to treat slow healing cuts, burns, abrasions, bruises, sprains, abscesses, dandruff, eczema, psoriasis, and the final stages of poison oak rash, and is known to help varicose veins. Calendula has natural anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic, vulnerary (aiding healing of wounds) properties and is very useful in its own right. It is also known to be helpful for those suffering a compromised immune system. Recommended for mixed and oily skin, calendula oil is somewhat cooling and slightly drying. Camellia Oleifera Oil is an excellent skin moisturizer and excellent for those with a compromised immune systems. It is rich in plant collagen, and is the most skin friendly oil among all plant oils. Camellia oil has more than 87% unsaturated fatty acid, 80-83% oleic acid, 7-10% linoleic acid, is rich in protein, and Vitamins A, B, D, and E. Especially rich in linolenic acid, which cannot be produced by the body. It has been proven that Camellia oil has higher Oleic acid and Linoleic acid than olive oil and has been acclaimed as a "Miracle Oil", and is known to help prevent freckles, age spots, stretch marks, and even wrinkles.

Organic Chamomilla (Blue) (Matricaria Recutita) Flower

Chamomile is a wonderful herb for children as well as for adults, and those with a compromised immune systems. The tea or bath of chamomile is commonly used as a sleep aid and helps to soothe and calm a baby or child who is restless and irritable, as well as encourage sleep. Chamomile contains phenolic derivatives, which have antiseptic and healing qualities, and is helpful in relieving skin congestion. It is used for its cell regeneration, healing, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, as well as reducing  skin  puffiness. Chamomile studies show it is helpful with skin problems, including acne, eczema, skin rashes and irritation, and other skin problems.

Coenzyme CoQ10 (Ubiquinone) (aka Q-10)

Coenzyme Q-10 is the only lipid-soluble antioxidant that is synthesized in our bodies and penetrates into the cell layers of the skin. Studies show that CoQ10 may also lessen the depth of wrinkles that are characteristic of photoaging. CoQ10 is also highly effective in protecting skin cells known as keratinocytes from oxidative DNA damage induced by ultraviolet light. CoQ10 possesses potent antioxidant properties which experts suspect it might explain its reputation in slowing down the aging process. High in Gadoleic acid (about 70-72%), an unsaturated fatty acid. Due to its structure Jojoba does not go rancid like some oils can.
